Description:
This 1-wire card uses the DS2450 IC in the output mode to turn four digital signals on and off. The output is buffered with an open collector 7407 IC that can be used to control DC relay coils at up to 35V at 24 mA each. It can also be connected to the RELAY4B. This board accepts four optically isolated solid state relays. These can be any combination of an OAC5A (switches 24 to 240VAC at up to 3 amps) or an ODC5A (switches 4 to 200VDC at up to 1 amp).
Card Type: 128
Connector CN2 (6-pin style) Pinout:
Pin Numbers | Description |
1 | Common or Ground |
2 | Output channel 4 |
3 | Output channel 3 |
4 | Output channel 2 |
5 | Output channel 1 |
6 | +5V Power Output |
OWconfig:
The "Type" must be 128 as described above. The "Mode" must always be "Separate power".
Modbus Register Information:
This device has four consecutive Modbus output registers on the ICONIO board, one for each digital output channel. Writing a 0 to an output register turns the relay off. Writing a 1 turns the relay on.
